The first step of the process begins with the initial inquiry from the client through the form on our website, by email, or a simple phone call. The more information you’re able to provide, the better equipped we’ll be to respond to your inquiry. Once submitted, a member of our team evaluates the project and contacts you in due course. *During the high season, please note that due to the volume of requests responses may be subject to delay.

/ E V A L U A T I O N   O F   R E Q U E S T                                  

Once Baeumler receives your inquiry, we’ll evaluate the proposed project and advise you whether we think we’re a good fit. Regrettably, factors such as location, budget, scope of work and the volume of requests we receive means we can’t provide quotes on every proposal or accept every job that comes our way. However, we’re happy to provide some advice to help you find the team that’s right for you.

/ S I T E   V I S I T                                                                   

To provide the initial estimate, our senior Business manager will meet with you to visit the proposed project site, and work with you to gather all the information required for the planning budget.

/ P L A N N I N G   B U D G E T                                                 

The planning budget is created and presented in person. This planning budget will give you a rough indication of the cost of the proposed project as discussed at the initial site visit with our senior business manager. If the planning budget is approved, we move forward to the next step. *During the high season, please note that creation of the planning budget may be subject to delay.

/ S I T E   M E A S U R E   &   R E T A I N E R                                                 

Baeumler Quality Construction arranges for another visit for a site measure used to create the permit drawings. At the time of the visit, a retainer is collected which covers pre-construction costs including drawings, permits and any other documents that must be drafted for city submission.

The meeting lasts approximately 3 hours and involves both our senior business manager and the lead architect. A receipt of retainer will be left with the client and signed by all parties involved.

/ 3 D   S K E T C H - U P   P R E S E N T A T I O N                                   

If a visual representation of the design is requested by the client, a meeting is arranged to present the 3-D Sketch Ups that have been drafted for the client’s approval. The homeowner can notify the team of any changes they would like to make until they are satisfied with the design. We do not move to the next phase until the drawings and designs are approved by the client.

/ S C O P E   O F   W O R K                                                         

With the completed drawings, Baeumler Quality Construction creates a detailed scope of work that outlines the roadmap for the proposed project. As a project management based company, we work with local subcontractors to provide us with initial quotes for pricing. Once the scope of work is completed, our senior Business manager presents it to the client.

/ C O N T R A C T                                                                   

If the scope of work is approved by the client, Baeumler Quality Construction drafts a contract for both parties to sign, upon which a deposit will be collected and you’ll be introduced to your project manager, who will be leading the job and managing the team. Once permits have been approved by the city (submitted by the architect on the client’s behalf) we will then commence construction on the date stipulated in the contract.

/ C O N S T R U C T I O N                                                     

Every project requires its own unique considerations and approach, but most new builds, additions and renovations can expect some combination of: demolition, where existing structures are removed to make way for new work. Renovation, involving structural changes, framing, plumbing, electrical work, and installation of new materials. Finally, the site is cleaned up, ensuring all debris is removed and the space is prepared for final inspections and occupancy.

We work hard to make sure that our work accords to the highest standards, and is always to your satisfaction. Baeumler Quality Construction offers a one year post-construction warranty, and we’re always a phone call away if there are any follow-up questions about your new space.
